Home Page Stories
It is with great sorrow we inform the club that our fellow member and dear friend George Costaras has passed away.  George was an enthusiastic and key supporter of Rotary and the Sunrise Club, being a past-president of the club, formerly chairing the District's student exchange program, a Paul Harris Fellow, and supporting MESA in the annual Rotary Tour for MESA.  His wife, Janice, is an honorary club member, bestowed in recognition of the Costaras' support of the Student Exchange Program.  George had a ready smile and warm heart for everyone who met him.  His loss leaves an enormous hole in the Club, the District, and in our hearts.

Our Club has begun a search for a new permanent location.  We currently are holding meeting at offices of Leadership Lorain County  (1202 Broad Street in Elyria).  On January 30 and February 6 our club will be meeting at University Hospitals - Elyria.  We hope that sometime in February we will have pinned down place were our meetings can be held on a long term basis.  Stay tuned for information updates as they become available.
